WPM Fumigation

Wooden Packaging materials used for packaging products during international transit are potential carrier of native insect pest to export destinations and as per ISPM 15 regulations, it have to be fumigated to prevent spreading of wood pest from one country to another. Wooden Packing Materials treated with Methyl Bromide and kept under fumigation for 48 hours, thereafter, all treated materials are marked with ISPM marking and certificate issued. Fumigant concentrations are monitored and evaluated to check and ensure effectiveness of the treatment
